

Jewish law, abortion and born v. unborn life
With Missouri following Alabama by passing a restrictive law limiting abortion to the first few weeks, and then only to save the life of the mother, a “teachable moment” presents itself: the view of the Jewish religion and culture. Jews and, as I will argue, non-Jews, too, should become familiar with the two key brief texts that pertain to the fetus so that we may engage more faithfully, more wisely, more compassionately and more civilly. JMA: More Than Its Acronym
JMA is for me, and I am sure for you, a new addition to the Jewish acronym dictionary.
